District Court Recruitment 2026: ₹83,700 Salary! Bangalore Rural District Court Recruitment, Apply by September 15
Hello friends, here is good news for candidates who have completed PUC and are looking for a stable government job in the judicial sector. The Principal District and Sessions Court, Bangalore Rural District, has released a recruitment notification for 21 Stenographer Grade-III posts. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online before September 15, 2026.
Recruitment Details
The recruitment is being conducted for Stenographer Grade-III positions in Bangalore Rural District, Karnataka. Out of the 21 vacancies, 4 posts are backlog vacancies and 17 are new vacancies. The posts are distributed among different categories as per reservation rules.
Candidates applying for these posts must have passed PUC from a recognized board or completed a three-year Commercial Practice Diploma or equivalent qualification. In addition, candidates must have computer knowledge and should have passed the Senior Typewriting and Senior Shorthand examinations in Kannada and English conducted by the Department of Public Instruction.
Age Limit
As of September 15, 2026, applicants must be at least 18 years old. The maximum age limit is 40 years for General category candidates, 43 years for Category 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B candidates, and 45 years for SC, ST and Category-I candidates. Additional relaxation may be available to eligible ex-servicemen, women and disabled candidates according to government rules.
Application Fee and Salary
General category candidates must pay an application fee of ₹200, while candidates belonging to Categories 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B must pay ₹100. SC, ST, Category-I and disabled candidates are exempt from the fee.
Selected candidates for Stenographer Grade-III posts will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹44,425 to ₹83,700, along with applicable government allowances.
Selection Process
Selection will involve a Kannada and English shorthand and typing skill test, in which candidates must obtain the required marks. Candidates who qualify will be shortlisted for the interview in a 1:5 ratio based on their performance.
