Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Basic computer knowledge is mandatory. Candidates should have a certificate, diploma, degree in computer applications, or should have studied Computer Science/Information Technology as a subject during school or college.
  • Applicants should be able to read, write, and speak the official local language of the State or Union Territory for which they are applying.

Age Limit

As on 1 August 2026, candidates should satisfy the following age criteria:

  • Minimum Age: 20 Years
  • Maximum Age: 28 Years

Age Relaxation

Reserved category candidates are eligible for age relaxation as per Government rules:

  • SC/ST: 5 Years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
  • PwBD: 10 Years
  • Relaxation is also available for Ex-Servicemen, Widows, and Divorced Women as per applicable rules.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive an attractive salary ranging from:

  • ₹24,050 to ₹64,480 per month

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of the following stages:

Preliminary Examination

The preliminary examination will be conducted online and will include:

  • English Language
  • Numerical Ability
  • Reasoning Ability

The test carries 100 marks with a duration of 60 minutes.

Main Examination

Candidates who qualify in the preliminary examination will appear for the Main Examination, which includes:

  • General/Financial Awareness
  • General English
  • Reasoning Ability
  • Quantitative Aptitude

The Main Examination consists of 160 questions for 200 marks with a duration of 125 minutes.

Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)

Candidates who have not studied the local language of the State/UT in Class 10 must qualify the Local Language Proficiency Test after clearing the Main Examination.

Negative Marking

A deduction of 0.25 marks will be made for every incorrect answer in both the Preliminary and Main examinations.
